PS5 and Xbox: what to know
Gamepad or mouse and keyboard on both PC and console. Consoles have a complexity meter that limits how much you can build, to keep performance steady. Console disc editions are scheduled for October 20, 2026; see the release date and launch-time page for the timeline.
The Xbox listing carries Xbox Play Anywhere and lists Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its cloud option says “Game purchase required” alongside an eligible subscription. This does not confirm that Planet Zoo 2 is included in the Game Pass catalogue.
PC: check your machine first
Use the minimum and recommended system requirements before downloading. There is no native Mac version announced. If your PC cannot meet the listed hardware, Frontier identifies GeForce NOW as a cloud-play option.

Sharing creations and playing offline
No multiplayer. Parks and blueprints can be shared and downloaded through the in-game workshop, across platforms. Playable offline once downloaded; the workshop and park sharing need an internet connection.
